Is the Roof MOT really free?
Yes. It’s normally £200 plus VAT. There’s no obligation to join or to have any work done.
Is this just a way to sell me a new roof?
No. That’s why we make the Honest Report Promise: we’ll never quote for work your roof doesn’t need. You’ll see the photos yourself.
Why pay every month for a roof that’s fine?
You service your car and your boiler while they’re fine. That’s the point. The yearly Roof MOT alone is normally £240. Silver costs less than £1 a day, and includes the MOT, gutter care and small jobs.
I’ll just ring you if something goes wrong.
You still can, and as a member you’re put ahead of non-members, including after a storm. But by the time something’s gone wrong, the water’s already in. And on an AAA re-roof, your guarantee only keeps growing while you’re a member.
What if I want to stop?
Membership runs for 12 months. After that, stop any time with a month’s notice. We’ll tell you all this before you sign.
AAA didn’t fit my roof. Can I still join?
Yes. We start with a free Roof MOT. If anything needs doing, we’ll quote for it. Once your roof is up to AAA standard, you can join.
How does the growing guarantee work?
For new roofs fitted by AAA, you get one extra year of workmanship guarantee for each continuous year of membership, up to ten years. Your membership needs to stay active, with payments up to date. It only applies to new roofs AAA has fitted, not to repairs or other work.
Is RoofCare insurance?
No. It’s regular care for your roof. Materials, major repairs and scaffolding are charged separately, and we’ll always tell you the price first.
Will RoofCare help if I ever need to claim on my home insurance?
It can help you show your roof was looked after. Insurers can turn down storm claims if they think a roof wasn’t maintained. In Allianz’s own analysis, 43% of the storm claims it turned down were for maintenance issues, like wear and tear. As a member, you have dated photos and a written record of every yearly check to show them. We can’t promise what an insurer decides, and RoofCare doesn’t replace your insurance.
