This explains what we do with the details you send us. We've kept it short and plain.

Who we are
AAA Roofing Ltd, company number 10430913, decides how your details are used. Under data protection law, that makes us the "controller".

What we collect
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your town or postcode, and your phone number, if you give them when you ask for a Roof MOT.
- Whether you've told us AAA fitted a new roof on your house.
- Anything else you choose to write in a message to us.
When you press the button on our form, your details come straight to us and are saved in our customer records system, HubSpot, which keeps them on our behalf. If that ever doesn't work, the form opens your own email app with the message ready to go instead, and the message goes from your email account to ours when you press send.

Why we use it
- To send you the After-the-Storm Checklist.
- To arrange your free Roof MOT, if you asked for one.
- To reply to you.
We don't use your details for anything else without asking you first.

Our legal basis
In plain words, we use your details because you asked us to do something, and we need them to do it. The law calls this "taking steps at your request".
We also have a fair reason to reply to anyone who writes to us. The law calls this "legitimate interests".

Who sees it
We don't sell your data. We don't pass it on for anyone else's marketing.
Your details are seen by the people at AAA who need them to help you, and by the email service we use to send and receive messages. We may also share them if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it
- If you only asked for the checklist, we keep your details for up to 12 months, then delete them.
- If you asked for a Roof MOT, we keep your details while we arrange it, and for up to 12 months after.
- If you join RoofCare, or the law says we must keep a record for longer, we'll tell you how long when we ask you to join.
You can ask us to delete your details sooner at any time.

Cookies and tracking
This site uses no cookies and no tracking. We don't run analytics or adverts.
One thing worth knowing. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them. Google can see your IP address when that happens. Google's own privacy information explains what it does with that.

Your rights
You have the right to:
- See the details we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your details.
- Object to how we use your details.
To stop our marketing texts at any time, use our Stop texts page. To stop our marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
Email us and we'll help. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd like the chance to put things right first, but you don't have to come to us before the ICO.
