Who we are

This website belongs to AAA Roofing Ltd, company number 10430913. We're a family-run roofing firm, working since 1976 in North East England and North Yorkshire.

When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean AAA Roofing Ltd. "You" means anyone using the site.

What this site is for

The site tells you about the free Roof MOT and AAA RoofCare membership. It also lets you ask us, by email, for the After-the-Storm Checklist or a free Roof MOT.

Nothing you send us through the site signs you up to anything. A Roof MOT booking or a RoofCare membership is agreed with you separately, before anything starts.

The free Roof MOT

• It's free to you, with no obligation. It's normally £200 plus VAT.
• It's a visual check of the parts of your roof that can be seen safely. We don't take risks to get a better look.
• It isn't a guarantee. Some defects are hidden, and we can't promise there are none we haven't seen.
• We book Roof MOTs in the order requests come in, and we'll email you to find a time that suits you.

Our promise to you is simple:

We'll never quote for work your roof doesn't need. If nothing needs doing, we'll tell you, and show you the photos.

RoofCare membership

Membership includes a yearly Roof MOT, gutter care, small jobs, priority, and a growing guarantee on new roofs AAA has fitted. The growing guarantee doesn't apply to repairs or other work. The full membership terms explain exactly what each one covers.

• Silver is from £29.90 a month. Gold is from £49.90 a month. Prices include VAT.
• "From" means these are starting prices. We confirm your exact price before you join.
• Membership runs for 12 months. After that, you can stop at any time by giving a month's notice.
• RoofCare isn't insurance.
• Materials, major repairs and scaffolding are charged separately.
• Member priority means you're put ahead of non-members when you ring, including after a storm. It doesn't guarantee an attendance time. It depends on the weather, safe working and how busy we are, and storm repairs are charged separately.
• We plan visits around the weather, safe working and our rounds, so we can't give a fixed date. We'll give you as much notice as we can, and dates may vary from year to year.

Joining online. Anyone can join and pay online. Payments are taken monthly by Direct Debit or card, through Stripe.

• If AAA Roofing fitted a new roof on your home, you also get the growing guarantee. It applies to new roofs only, not repairs.
• For every other home, your first visit is a full Roof MOT. If your roof needs repairs before we can look after it, we'll quote you for them first. Your membership benefits start once the roof is up to our standard.
• If you'd rather not have the repairs done, we'll cancel your membership and refund you in full.

Cancelling. RoofCare is a 12-month membership, paid monthly.

• You can cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund. We plan your first Roof MOT after those 14 days.
• If you cancel after that, but before your 12 months are up, the rest of the year is still due.
• After 12 months, you can stop at any time by giving a month's notice.
• Payments you've already made for months that have started aren't refunded.

Accuracy of information

We take care to keep this site right and up to date. Prices and details can change, and mistakes can happen. If something looks wrong, email us and we'll put it right.

The After-the-Storm Checklist is general guidance. It can't tell us what's happening on your own roof, which is what the Roof MOT is for.

Please don't climb onto your roof or use a ladder in bad weather. Look from the ground.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits anything the law says we must do for you. That includes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and for fraud.

Beyond that, we aren't responsible for losses that we couldn't reasonably have expected from your use of this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
